The Lago Vista Police Department & the Kali Technical Institute’s
Tactical Edge Systems will host specialized defensive tactics training taught by
Grand Tuhon (Supreme Grandmaster) Leo T. Gaje Jr. of the Pekiti Tirsia system.
The defensive tactics being taught are specialized for law enforcement with an emphasis on liability reduction with safety & control. The Defensive Tactical Combatives or DEFTACOMB is a program of the Pekiti Tirsia Global Organization’s Law Enforcement Defensive Tactics Safety System. The control dynamics of DEFTACOMB are both unique & highly effective. The training will be conducted in December 2008 at the Lago Vista ATA Black Belt Academy, courtesy of the facility's owner & chief instructor Mrs. Christina Schwartz.
